Our story

Two perspectives. One shared vision.

As a practicing pathologist and informatician, Emilio understood both the clinical demands of pathology and the challenges of bringing technology into everyday workflows.

Arian had spent more than two decades building software companies and large-scale platforms, turning complex technology into practical products.

Emilio and ArianEmilio and Arian
Emilio and Arian, friends first.

Their friendship brought these two worlds together. They saw an opportunity to build something beyond a digital slide viewer: a connected environment where pathologists could review, collaborate, conduct research, and incorporate new technologies naturally.

That shared vision became TileRiver.
