One platform. Every pathology workflow connected.
TileRiver brings media, cases, people, and AI together around a shared pathology record. From image acquisition to clinical review, research, and teaching, every module works within the same system and connects to the institution’s existing technology.
Request a demoA shared foundation for every module.
TileRiver takes media from any instrument, normalizes it into a standards-based DICOM record, and associates it with case information. The Viewer, Lab Operations, AI Runner, and Collaboration all work from that record. Select a module to jump to its section.
Different sources. One consistent workflow.
TileRiver reads the native formats of the major slide scanners, including Aperio, Epredia/3DHISTECH, Hamamatsu, Leica, Philips, Ventana, and Zeiss, as well as DICOM and OME-TIFF. Photographs, radiographs, and PDF reports are added to the same case.
Parallel, resumable uploads handle large files, and each file becomes available only after processing is complete. Enterprise deployments can ingest instrument output automatically and match it to the correct clinical case.
A pathology record built to stay interoperable.
TileRiver stores pathology media as DICOM. The standard is the foundation of the platform, not just another import format. Through DICOMweb and clinical-system connections, the record works with your institution’s broader imaging and patient workflows. Everything in it stays exportable: images, metadata, annotations, measurements, and audit log.
A viewer that handles like a microscope.
Guided review mode tracks coverage across 100% of detected tissue. Up to four slides can be aligned automatically and navigated in sync. The web-based viewer also supports multi-channel immunofluorescence, image overlays, and AI, with the results shown on the image, all without leaving the case.

More control over the work. More throughput from the lab.
The Lab Operations Console brings scanner activity, assignments, queues, processing, quality checks, and throughput into one operational view. Image-level QC helps teams catch problems early, while worklists organize completed cases for the pathologists who need them.
Turn your models into pathology tools.
TileRiver makes it simple to add in-house, open-source, and commercial AI models. A short model definition sets the inputs, outputs, and controls. Controls are generated from the definition, so adding a model doesn’t mean building an interface. Administrators set the default parameters and permitted ranges, and pathologists run models from the viewer, where they execute in parallel.
One image. Many ways to work together.
Teams collaborate in workspaces and collections, with roles that set who can view and who can annotate. Pathologists share a specific view for a consultation, educators build teaching sets, and researchers organize cohorts.
Patient data stays inside your deployment. When you share outside the institution, TileRiver removes identifiers from metadata, file names, and the slide label and macro images. You review and confirm before anything goes out.
Fits the systems around pathology.
TileRiver connects to the technology your institution already uses. It holds the image record and the clinical context, and speaks the standards that let other systems work with both.

Institutional single sign-on and scoped permissions in Enterprise.
One platform, wherever you need to run it.
TileRiver Enterprise runs in a dedicated cloud environment, on your institution’s infrastructure, or in a hybrid of the two. If a site loses its connection, it keeps ingesting and viewing locally, syncs when the connection returns, and only publishes verified content.
TileRiver manages installation, updates, monitoring, and support, and every deployment includes high availability and backups. Your institution controls its own infrastructure and policies.
